Chapter 122 Sad—Outer Disciples

Ding Hao gently walked over step by step, took Zhang Fan’s hand, comforted him softly, and then carefully examined the young hunter’s wound.

Ding Hao moved slowly and calmly.

Only the flame in his eye became hotter and more terrible as the wound examination went further.

Such vicious tricks!

Zhang Fan’s wound was extremely serious.

At least four of his ribs were broken, his right arm broken and the fibula in his left leg broken. In addition, muscle tears were found all over his body. Even his five internal organs were more or less displaced due to severe blows.

These were definitely serious injuries.

It could be seen that this was still the result of all kinds of extremely clever methods and the treatment of psychotropic drugs. According to w.a.n.g Xiaoqi, Zhang Fan had been wounded for at least four or five days; that was to say, four or five days ago, his wound was definitely much more serious than now.

It could be imagined how it was like when he was beaten.

Such wounds had already affected Zhang Fan’s road as a martial artist.

If the recovery for the bone and five inner-organs wounds were not optimistic, his Qi practising and combatting skills would be affected.

“Brother Ding, I’m fine… I’m really fine…” The young hunter saw the gloomy look on Ding Hao’s face just like it was before an volcanic eruption. Zhang Fan kept breathing weakly, repeating the same words anxiously.

Obviously he had the same worry as w.a.n.g Xiaoqi.

Ding Hao just patted him on the shoulder lightly.

“Take a good rest, don’t worry about anything. I will cure you, you will not have any lingering effects, and you will stand up again soon, I promise!”

Ding Hao said with a smile and pressed an acupoint in the back of Zhang Fan’s head.

The latter immediately fell into a deep sleep.

Then, Ding Hao turned around and slowly walked out of the room.

The autumn afternoon sun warmly s.h.i.+ned on Ding Hao’s face. It was bright and beautiful, which set off this originally angular face as even more handsome.

However, in his eyes the anger was burning with flame, and that slightly c.o.c.ked mouth with white teeth, but what w.a.n.g Xiaoqi and other disciples in the courtyard felt was a terrible beast they were facing, which was about to explode his anger!

“Tell me, what is going on, tell me everything. Don’t worry. I will act with propriety!” Ding Hao said quietly, looking at w.a.n.g Xiaoqi.

“This… I… but…” w.a.n.g Xiaoqi still had some hesitation.

“Don’t worry, just tell Ding Hao, Brother Zhong. If you don’t tell, I will,” the former disciple named Zhou Qing finally couldn’t contain his anger. His face turned red and he said, “Zhang Fan was beaten…”

Ding Hao nodded: “Who did it?”

“A group of outer disciples and they were dominating the market. Their head is Duan Tianli. He has been in the Swordsmans.h.i.+p-seeking Sect for five or six years and controls a small powerful group called Tianli Attic of outer disciples. It is said that they are supported by several outer core elders and have always been very arrogant!”

Outer disciples?

Ding Hao finally understood a little.

No wonder w.a.n.g Xiaoqi didn’t want to let him know who the enemy was. It turned out to be official disciples of the Swordsmans.h.i.+p-seeking Sect. Indeed no ordinary registered disciples were able to provoke them, but…

Ding Hao’s mouth corners c.o.c.ked up slightly.

I am not an ordinary registered disciple, and I won’t allow myself to be pushed around!

“Why?” Ding Hao continued asking.

“Brother Ding, do you still remember that we killed five [Foxy Wolf Beasts] during the trial, and Zhang Fan dissected their bodies and got some teeth, bones and leather from the fierce beasts. Everyone was very happy at that time since we could make a small fortune. But no one could imagine that after returning to the sect, outer disciples headed by Duan Tianli wanted to make a forcible purchase at a price lower than one sixth of the market price in the commercial district. Of course Brother Zhang refused to do so. And they started a big fight…”

“Duan Tianli threatened to kill chickens to frighten monkeys. He struck a vicious blow, knocked Brother Zhang Fan into a coma and Brother Zhang Fan was wounded seriously. In fact, it was not only Brother Zhang who was wounded but also Brother Fang Tianyi, Brother Zhuo Yifeng and many other disciples of the vanguard who were badly beaten and they still remain in bed today!”

“Yes, these guys are really too vicious and cruel!”

“A lot of registered disciples from various academies who came back from trials were bullied at will by them. They forcibly plundered what registered disciples got from the trials. Any slight resistance would immediately result in a severe beating!”

“Of the academies, only the Honorable Alliance of Seven from the Central Academy of White s.h.i.+rts can not be provoked by them and Tianli Attic dares not bully the Honorable Alliance of Seven!”

“They’re just a bunch of robbers!”

“It’s shameless and overbearing!”

As Zhou Qing first began to tell the story, more and more disciples of the Eastern Academy of green s.h.i.+rts could not help but feel angry in their hearts. They surrounded Ding Hao, like that they had seen their relatives who could make decisions for them, and told Ding Hao the oppression they suffered during this period of time.

Ding Hao did not interrupt them and listened to them quietly.

At this time, the flame burning in his eyes was more and more vigorous.

Until everyone had finished did he nod; his eyes swept across their faces. Raising his head and glancing at the bright suns.h.i.+ne in the sky, Ding Hao seemed to whisper softly to himself: “If they dare not provoke the Honorable Alliance of Seven, dare they offend me, Ding Hao? It seems that the impression I gave some people before was really too friendly! This is not good!”

When he finished his whisper, Ding Hao elbowed his way through the crowd. He walked out slowly, looking calm.

w.a.n.g Xiaoqi’s first reaction was to catch up with him and stop him.

But when he took a few steps, he came to think of something. He stopped and finally shook his head, following tightly behind Ding Hao.

Dozens of other disciples, glancing at each other, had understood what Ding Hao meant, so they looked not only excited but also worried, and they all followed after him.

In a sense, registered disciples could not be regarded as official disciples of the Swordsmans.h.i.+p-seeking Sect.

Because only after going through all kinds of examinations, surmounting numerous difficulties and pa.s.sing the final examination one year later, they would be approved by the sect, so that the ‘registered’ word could be removed from their t.i.tles and they officially became disciples of the Swordsmans.h.i.+p-seeking Sect.

At that time, they became official disciples of the Swordsmans.h.i.+p-seeking Sect.

They would become outer disciples.

Of course, outer disciples did not mean once and for all.

Because outer disciples could only be considered to be at the bottom of the pyramid in the Swordsmans.h.i.+p-seeking Sect.

They still had to experience various examinations. Only the winners would be qualified to continue to climb up and become inner disciples, and then they climbed up to be successor disciples and core disciples… If they could not go further in the fierce compet.i.tion, they could only stay at the level of outer disciples for the rest of their lives. Without exception, they would die in the Swordsmans.h.i.+p-seeking Sect.

However, this did not obstruct some outer disciples’ showing off their pride and superiority in front of registered disciples.
