Chapter 252 I Want to Befriend Them

The north wind was rustling and snowflakes were whirling.

On that frozen day, more than a dozen black knights just wore underwear, s.h.i.+vering with cold; they were no longer arrogant.

Ding Hao pursed his lips and thought about how to deal with them.

Killing them was to let them off lightly. After all, more than a dozen people were warriors of the Martial Disciple Realm and the bald person’s strength was in the One-apertured Martial Soldier Realm. In this long winter, it would be useful to keep them.

If he could control them…

Ding Hao asked the Sabre Master and the Sword Master in his mind.

“Haha, little Ding, that’s easy. I’ll teach you a simple means.” The Sword Master laughed and told Ding Hao a method that was not hard to be carried out.

Ding Hao thanked him and put away the dragon-patterned blood sabre. Then he opened his hand; a pale-yellow flame appeared in his palm. According to the method taught by the Sword Master, after a slight change, Ding Hao flipped his finger.

The flame suddenly flew out and turned into a dozen small flames. The flying fire like meteors were spattered into the black knights’ bodies.

The poor black knights were completely frightened by the gradually darkening little cute cat. They didn’t dare to move. They watched the yellow small sparks enter their bodies, and their faces showed a look of horror. They knelt down in hopes that Ding Hao would spare their lives.

“I have already planted the flame brand in your bodies. Without my dilution by Mysterious Qi once a day, you would be burned to ashes by the flame brand, all within a day and a night, just like this sabre.”

With the corners of his mouth forming a sneer, Ding Hao used a backhand skill and picked up the bald giant man’s sabre from the ground.

Ding Hao ran his Mysterious Qi; a pale-yellow flame like watermark diffused in the sabre as Ding Hao’s palm swept along. In the next moment, with a series of light sounds, a long sabre that weighed at least a hundred jin, turned into molten iron in an instant. Then it fell on the ground and solidified into a black discus immediately.

Black knights opened their mouths wider. Even the large sabre forged by refined steel was burned into molten iron, and their flesh and blood bodies would perhaps be burned to light smoke in an instant.

Some people wanted to leave things to luck, but when they saw such a scene, they completely gave up the idea of escaping to deliver a message.

“Be obedient. I will diffuse the flame brand for you every day, otherwise…” Ding Hao smiled like a devil and said, “The pain that the body burns from the inside out is a thousand times more horrible than dismembering your bodies. Furthermore, I promise that except for me, n.o.body can eliminate the flame brands.”

“Obedient. We are absolutely obedient!”

“Chivalrous hero, from today on, we are all your servants and we will do whatever you ask us to do.”

“Thank you, chivalrous hero. To be honest, I have long intended to forsake darkness for light. It is great that my wishes are achieved today!”

“Actually I have always wanted to be a good man, chivalrous hero of With One Sabre to Begin Journey. You can wait and see my future performance!”

At this moment, the group of black knights with a full record of crimes patted their chests to vow that they couldn’t wait to describe themselves as pure and innocent, white flowers that everybody loved and turned over a new leaf.

Ding Hao waved his hand in disgust, then looked at the little cute cat with a protesting expression. “From now on, it is up to you to discipline these guys.”

“Meow? It’s so great. Don’t worry. I will take them as friends, meow, haha, I will soon make them become obedient fellows, meow!” For this task, the little cute cat was very satisfied. He just jumped up and almost made a gesture to pat his chest to make a promise.

As the black knights knew that they would fall in the devil cat’s hands, they all cried in bitterness at heart, but they showed no expression of dissatisfaction on their faces.

In a short while, Gao Feng, the chief of Valley Village, Gao Xue’er and other people came from afar. Gao Lin, the elder on the wall asked people to open the gate. The two sides joined together, their faces were full of excitement and ecstasy, and they looked at Ding Hao as if they were looking at their Savior.

“Thank you very much, our hero.”

“Invite the hero to enter the village!”

People rejoiced. Gao Xue’er, a little girl, took Ding Hao’s arm excitedly and introduced him proudly to everyone, saying that Ding Hao was employed as the guarding warrior for the Valley Village by her.

…

Soon, one day pa.s.sed.

Ding Hao was arranged to stay in the tenth floor in the middle of the village. It was the best room in the village with the highest terrain. Looking out from the windows on four sides, everything in the village could be seen at a glance.

The sun had a smiling face in the east. Rarely, it was not snowing today. The blue sky was beautiful as if it was washed.

Ding Hao sat up slowly from the stone bed covered with hides and warmed himself up.

He benefited a lot from yesterday’s battle. Last night, he only took a short rest and then began to race against time to conduct cultivation, and finally, in the morning, he got through Shaohai completely, the eighth aperture of the Shaoyin First Channel of Hand, the first of twelve standard meridians, ignited the Mysterious Qi in this aperture successfully.

This meant that finally, the Sword Technique Ice Frost Mysterious Qi in the lower Dantian of the belly entered the Eight-apertured Martial Disciple Realm completely.

As long as Ding Hao refined Shenguan, the ninth aperture, he would achieve the completion of the Martial Disciple Realm, entering the half-step Martial Warrior Realm. He also attained the circulation of the Mysterious Qi’s Large Circle of Vital Energy in the Shaoyin First Channel of Hand. At that time, Ding Hao would be able to accomplish the strength leap.

Standing in front of the window, Ding Hao looked down the whole Valley Village.

The village covered by the white snow appeared to be extremely tranquil and beautiful at sunrise. Villagers who were used to getting up earlier could be seen everywhere. But in the long winter, most exercises could not be done; villagers were relaxed as a result. On the far wall, the cute little cat, who claimed to be the Great Devil of the Black Knights, was busily training the black knights in ordinary clothes. Hot shouts rang through the Valley Village.

Ding Hao smiled.

After the evolution, the cute little cat learned to talk like human beings, so that various evil interests were revealed completely. For example, he would like to be a teacher, play practical jokes and be greedy, to have something brilliant such as mysterious crystals…

Poor black knights! Since they surrendered, they seemed to have no right to sleep. They were led by the cute little cat who was eager to have them train in the village like troops. Those black knights trained heavily in various drills. Now they were almost paralyzed by fatigue.

“Dong, dong, dong!”

Someone knocked at the door.

“Come in!” Ding Hao turned around slowly.

“Elder Brother Qicheng, it’s me!” Gao Xue’er bounced in the room.
